Spring Fling XXVI Schedule of Events
Thursday – April 19, 2012
- Spring Fling Speed Festival Willow Springs Raceway Rosamond, California
- 7:00 am Drivers meeting
- 8:00 am Course open to the first group
- 8:00 am New Driver instruction class and ride along instruction
- 12:00 pm Free cruise laps for spectators
- 5:00 pm Track Closed
- 6:30 pm Dinner
Friday – April 20, 2011
- Coastal Cruise starting from British Columbia heading south on Interstate 5. Cars joining in route and meeting Friday in Seaside California with the Bay Area cars. Drive Hwy 1, one of the most scenic highways, with Super Bird’s, Super Bee’s, GTX’s. No registration fee, no hassles, just join us for a great time. All vehicles welcome.
- Mid-point Stage at Seaside, CA
- 9:00 am, Meet at the McDonalds parking lot in Seaside at: 1516 Canyon Del Rey Blvd.
- Leave at 9:00 am sharp and proceed south down Hwy. 1
- Stop for food and gas at Ragged Point.
- Proceed South on 101 to Van Nuys.
- Driving Cruise from Woodley Park to Malibu for lunch
- 9:30 am Leave Woodley Park
- Stop at the Famous Rock Store on Mulholland Drive
- Cruise down Pacific Coast Highway
- 1:00 pm Lunch in Malibu on Pacific Coast Hwy.
- Return to Woodley Park, Van Nuys
Friday Night – April 20, 2012
- Manufacturers Midway Setup
- 1:00 pm start
- End at Dusk (7:00)
- Motion Picture Car Warehouse Spring Fling Meet and Greet
- This is a 44,000 sq foot facility that builds cars for the movie studios. They have about 200 cars in stock as well as build cars as required for the studios for particular movie project. They have a really cool stuff there!
- 8400 Reseda Blvd
- 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Saturday – April 21, 2012
- Spring Fling XXV Show – Show and Shine Only, No Judging, Open Parking
- 7:00 am Spring Fling entry gate open for car show and swap meeters
- 10:00 am Entry gate closes. Please do not arrive at 10:03 as the rangers lock the gate at 10:00 sharp.
**All vehicles remained parked as a park rule**
- 1:00 pm Exit gate open
- 4:00 pm Show closes
- Spring Fling Cruise at Bob’s Big Boy – 5:00 – 10:00 PM

Sunday – April 22, 2011
- Spring Fling XXV Show – Judging Day Parked By Class
- 7:00 am Spring Fling entry gate open for car show and swap meters
- 10:00 am Entry gate closes ((All vehicles remained parked as a park rule**
- 10:00 am judging begins
- 1:00 pm Exit gate open
- 2:30 pm: Spring Fling Car Show award presentation
- 4:00 pm Shows Closes
